A reminder & a sale

Morning darklings,

Did I realize there wasn't another week between the last Friday blog post and March 6th just today? Maybe, but you can't prove that.

Yes. I did. And since I just told you, I guess you can prove it.

I'm popping in to remind you that I want YOU to join me and the local authors of Animal Noir at Bold Coffee & Books for an in-person reading and Q&A on Friday at 7pm!

Some of the authors live in exotic places like Florida and Michigan, so you can see some of them read via the Vintage online reading. Okay, yes, the local authors are there too, but is it the same? Can you get your physical books signed or clap and see their faces light up at your praise? Exactly.

See why you just must come? Also, I'll be dressed for the occasion!

But wait, if you can't make the March 6th event? Or want to hang with us more than once, consider the speakeasy March 28th event instead/as well.

Animal Noir Reading · Luma
Animal Noir is a vibey anthology filled with 11 noir stories featuring a unique cast of anthropomorphic animals. Some say they are hard-boiled, others say…

I promise they'll be different! Just come out and support the authors! They put a lot of hard work into this.

one more thing (a sale)

Alsooooo, from until March 7th, all but Joyce and Animal Noir ebooks will be 50% on Smashwords for their Read An Ebook Week. But, because I'd prefer you shop with me, I made them 55% off on my shop—even the remaining limited edited Kickstarter Claw Machine pins are half off!

So if you've been eyeing a book of mine you haven't read yet or eyeing that pin, this is a good time to get it. While you're there, subscribe to The Little Periodical.

(NOTE: I promise I won't hustle TLP forever. But it's new, and I want to share it with more people!

Also, since I won't be offering one-off issues for the foreseeable future, it's until March 16th or never for Issue #1: Of the Body and the sticker that comes with it. Tell your friends!)

Alright, I'll chat with you Friday. I've got some thoughts about taking time off and focusing on what matters during times of bombs and misinformation and Instagram and e-commerce and TV and doing dishes.

Until next time, harness the Little darknesses and embrace the Little things.
